Hyperliquid Liquidation Price: Check Wallets and Distance
To find a Hyperliquid whale’s liquidation price, open the wallet’s Current positions. Compare liquidation price with mark price; distance expresses their gap as a percentage.
Find BTC positions near liquidation
- Open BTC Whale Radar, select a trader, or paste a public wallet address.
- In the wallet profile, switch to Current positions. Read direction, mark, liquidation price and To liquidation.
- Enter 5 under Liquidation distance ≤ % to narrow the list. Sorting by To liquidation puts smaller distances first.
No wallet connection is needed. The list covers already-read leaderboard wallets, not a whole-market liquidation heatmap. Check position timestamps. See the wallet lookup guide for navigation.
Calculate distance from mark price
Distance = |mark price − liquidation price| ÷ mark price × 100%.
Hypothetical example, with prices in dollars:
| Position | Mark | Liquidation | Distance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Long | 100,000 | 95,000 | 5% |
| Short | 100,000 | 105,000 | 5% |
Distance is a price gap, not a liquidation probability. Entry price is not its denominator.
Why a candle can touch the price without proving liquidation
Hyperliquid liquidations use mark price, which differs from the last trade shown by candles. See the official price definitions.
Liquidation estimates can change. Cross-margin positions depend on shared collateral and other positions’ unrealized results within their margin scope; isolated positions use allocated margin. A leverage setting alone cannot establish a fixed liquidation price. See margin rules and liquidations.
To inspect how a position ended, use wallet trade and position history.
Frequently asked questions
Does Hyperliquid liquidate using mark price or last price?
It uses mark price. A last trade or candle touching the liquidation price does not, on its own, confirm that liquidation occurred.
How is 5% liquidation distance calculated?
Radar uses the absolute difference between mark and liquidation price, divided by mark price, times 100%. A hypothetical mark of 100,000 and liquidation price of 95,000 gives 5%; entry price is not the denominator.
Why is the liquidation price or distance a dash?
No usable value is available in that lookup. Check open positions, position timestamps and loading status. A dash does not mean the wallet cannot be liquidated.
