Buy USDT with Alipay, WeChat or Bank Transfer: Payment Methods
Alipay, WeChat and bank transfers are payment methods, not USDT exchanges. An eligible Binance P2P buyer creates an order, then pays the seller using the details attached to it.
For mainland China, PBOC Notice 237 prohibits financial institutions and payment providers from providing transfers and settlement for virtual-currency business activities, and treats overseas exchanges serving mainland residents as illegal financial activity. An advertised payment option does not override these restrictions.
Find the payment method
Where local rules and the providers permit the service, open Add Funds → P2P Trading, select Buy and USDT, then filter by fiat currency, amount and payment method. Compare the quote, order limits and seller’s terms before placing an order.
Use the account details shown in the order. Check the recipient’s name and pay from your own matching-name account. Only mark payment complete after the transfer succeeds. The official app instructions cover the buying process.

The P2P transaction policy applies to its stated eligible users, including verified non-CN users. A merchant’s statistics do not establish permission for a payment method.
Compare the final cost
Use the same payment budget and compare the USDT received after any stated charges. Check the current P2P fee schedule and payment-provider fees. Buying BTC with the resulting USDT is a separate spot trade.
Paid, but no crypto?

Can I buy USDT directly inside Alipay?
This guide describes a Binance P2P order paid using an available Alipay option, not a USDT purchase inside Alipay. Availability depends on the market, account, ad and payment-provider rules.
What if Alipay or WeChat is missing from the payment options?
Check the fiat currency, amount and payment filters. If no eligible ad matches, use another permitted method you can access or return later. Do not pay an account supplied outside the order.
Is a bank transfer always cheaper than Alipay?
No. Compare the crypto received for the same payment budget, including order and payment-provider charges. The payment tool alone does not determine the total cost.
