Binance P2P vs C2C explained

For normal users, Binance P2P and C2C mean the same practical thing: peer-to-peer USDT trading.

P2P means peer-to-peer. C2C means customer-to-customer. Chinese users often say C2C; English pages often say P2P. The important question is not the label. The important question is whether you are placing the order inside Binance, whether Binance escrows the crypto asset, and whether disputes can be handled through Binance appeal.

Binance P2P buy USDT process

Use this order:

  1. Log in to Binance
  2. Complete KYC
  3. Open P2P/C2C Buy
  4. Select USDT
  5. Select fiat currency and payment method
  6. Filter merchants by high trade count and high completion rate
  7. Place order and pay the exact amount
  8. Wait for the merchant to release USDT

Do not sort only by price. A tiny price discount is worthless if the merchant drags you into a dispute.

Binance C2C sell USDT process

Use this order:

  1. Move USDT to Funding Wallet
  2. Open P2P/C2C Sell
  3. Prefer bank transfer
  4. Filter merchants with 10000+ trades and 99%+ completion rate
  5. Place order and wait for payment
  6. Confirm funds in your own bank app, not screenshots
  7. Release crypto only after confirmed receipt
  8. Save order records and bank statements

Selling USDT into RMB has more bank-account risk than buying USDT. Do not use your salary card, mortgage card, or main living card for random stranger inflows.

BNPRIME affects Binance trading fee rebate paths. It does not remove bank-card risk from C2C transactions.

Which Binance button should beginners use

  • Want to buy USDT: use P2P/C2C Buy
  • Want to sell USDT for RMB: use P2P/C2C Sell
  • Want to send USDT to a wallet: use Withdrawal, not P2P
  • Want to deposit USDT into Binance: use Deposit, not P2P

Many beginners mix up withdrawal and cashout. Withdrawal is an on-chain transfer. Cashout means selling USDT for fiat.
